Description Hotel il Castello Medievale di Assisi

This medieval castle near Assisi of 1232 has kept intact all its unique characteristics: its massive stone walls; the central structure around which the living quarters were constructed; the underground cellars, so typical of the period and carefully restored, which today  house the dining area where one may enjoy fine Umbrian cuisine.
The rooms (all with baths) have been remodeled sobriously in accordance with the medieval style and look out over the surrounding hills. The wide-open countryside is the perfect place for long, leisurely walks... in the middle of an unspoiled Nature.
